Hub Jam

Introduction

Hub Jam is a puzzle game for Android developed by Endtres. This privacy policy explains what information is handled when you play, and by whom. In short: the game keeps your progress on your device, backs up your stars and levels to your Google Play Games account if you use Play Games, and shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some information from your device to show and measure them.

Hub Jam has no accounts of its own, and never asks for your name, email address or any other contact details.

Information Stored on Your Device

The game stores the following on your device. Apart from the level progress backed up to Google Play Games (below), it is never sent to us or to anyone else:

• Level progress: levels unlocked and solved, best move counts, stars and best times
• Settings: sound, vibration and shapes on balls
• Your daily hints, undos and hearts, and when they were last refreshed
• Items you have bought in the game, if any
• Small counters the game uses itself, such as levels completed since the last ad

We run no servers that receive this information and have no access to it. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include it in your device's backup to your Google account, as it does for most apps. That backup is handled by Google, and we cannot see it.

Saved Progress (Google Play Games)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, Hub Jam saves your level progress to your Play Games account, so it comes back if you reinstall the game or play on another device. Play Games signs you in itself; the game never asks you to sign in.

The saved game holds only your level progress: which levels are unlocked, and for each solved level its stars, best move count and best time, plus how many trophies you have seen. It does not include your hints, undos, hearts, settings or purchases. Google Play Games keeps it in your Google account under Google's privacy policy; we have no access to it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Hub Jam shows ads between levels, and offers optional ads you can choose to watch for a free hint, undo or heart. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, AdMob collects information from your device, which may include:

• Device identifiers, such as your device's Advertising ID
• Your IP address, which can be used to estimate your approximate location (such as your country or city), not your precise location
• Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown and which were tapped
• Information about your device and the app, such as the device model, operating system, language, and diagnostics about how ads loaded

On devices that support them, AdMob may also use Android's own advertising features (the Privacy Sandbox, including Topics and Attribution).

This information goes directly from your device to Google, over encrypted connections, and is handled under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive it on any server of ours: AdMob gives us only overall reports, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned.

Your Choices About Ads

• Consent. Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your choice through Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time in the game, under Settings → Ad privacy.
• Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your device's Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device's settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads on some devices).

In-App Purchases

If you buy something in the game, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's terms. We never see your card or other payment details. The game records on your device which items you have bought, so it can give them to you.

Permissions

Hub Jam asks for no permissions that need your approval. It uses internet access (for ads, purchases and saved progress), vibration (for the game's own buzzes) and the Advertising ID (for ads). It does not access your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Settings → Start over in the game clears your progress: best scores, stars and times, on your device and in your Google Play Games saved game.
• You can delete Hub Jam's saved game, or all your Play Games data, in the Google Play Games app's settings.
• Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your device's settings, removes everything it stored on your device.
• For information collected by AdMob, reset or delete your Advertising ID as described above, and see Google's privacy controls at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.

Children's Privacy

Hub Jam is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
